Man killed at downtown Minneapolis hotel

In what police called a rare crime for a downtown Minneapolis hotel, a 33-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday on one of the upper floors of the Millennium Hotel, possibly by an acquaintance, police said. It was the city's first homicide of the year.
