Want to donate your computer?

June 21, 2012 at 12:36AM

Thanks, but please do it smartly. Half of the computers donated by individuals are unusable and will be recycled. Businesses do much better; only 15 percent of theirs can't be used.

Here are the criteria:

• No computers older than eight years.

• Preferred operating systems: Windows XP, Vista or 7. And they love laptops.

• Drop off computers at 1481 Marshall Av., St. Paul, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or make an appointment for other times by e-mailing Casey Sorensen at csorensen @pcsforpeople.org or by calling him at 612-567-8435.
