APRIL 17

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 6800 block of Lotus Trail. A juvenile male was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, and another was cited for possession of marijuana.

INDEPENDENCE

APRIL 15

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of an unknown male walking around a home in the 6000 block of Rachel Ridge Circle. They were unable to locate the male but discovered after further investigation that the caller was unaware her husband had requested service for water testing.

APRIL 18

Driving violation. A 17-year-old boy was cited for driving over the center line after an officer observed him driving while looking at a mobile device. The boy's mother was contacted and made aware of the situation.

MAPLE GROVE

APRIL 18

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of a person in the woods behind a home in the 9000 block of 63rd Avenue. They located two people who said they were enjoying nature and then left when told they were on private property.

MEDINA

APRIL 20

Fishing complaint. Officers responded to a report of a person spearing carp after midnight at the Baker Park boat launch. They located a person using a bow and arrow to fish for carp, which is legal.

APRIL 21

Animal complaint. A resident at Tamarack Drive and Oakview Road was issued a warning after her dogs were found running at large. There had been previous complaints about the dogs.

PLYMOUTH

APRIL 14

Weapon. A 13-year-old boy was cited for possession of an airsoft gun on school property at Plymouth Middle School, 10011 36th Av. N.

APRIL 15

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of suspicious males in a wooded area in the 6100 block of Vicksburg Lane. A 16-year-old boy was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and an 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

APRIL 21

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a man urinating in public in the 17300 block of County Road 6. A 25-year-old Robbinsdale man was cited for disorderly conduct.

RICHFIELD

APRIL 20

Drugs. Methamphetamine was found in a bicycle tire at Penn Cycle, 6824 Penn Av. S. A possible suspect was identified.

Theft. An 83-year-old man was arrested for stealing food valued at $35.94 from Aldi Foods, 6310 Penn Av. S.

APRIL 21

Noise. Officers responded to a noise complaint at an apartment in the 6300 block of Lyndale Avenue S. A 22-year-old male resident was arrested for obstructing the legal process, disorderly conduct, noise and possession of marijuana; and a 25-year-old St. Anthony man was arrested for obstructing the legal process, disorderly conduct and giving officers a false name.

ROCKFORD

APRIL 21

Animal complaint. A woman reported finding seven dead puppies in Lake Rebecca at Lake Rebecca Park Reserve, County Road 50. The Public Works Department investigated and found that they were raccoons.

WACONIA

APRIL 15

Animal complaint. A Waconia woman was cited for letting a dog run at large at Highway 5 and Cherry Street S.
