Tryouts for the 2009 Minnesota Vixen, members of the Women's Professional Football League, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Velocity Sports in Champlin.

Those wishing to try out, must bring a photocopy (front and back) of their driver's license (or other government issued ID), a medical insurance card (again photocopy front and back) and the completed Tryout Form, which may be found on the team website (www.minnesotavixen.com/whatrookiesneed).
A tryout fee of $35 covers the facility for the two days. The fee should be in the form of a check or money order (made payable to Hot Dish Football Inc.). Credit and debit cards also are accepted.
Velocity Sports is also providing SPARQ training that includes strength and agility testing with computerized equipment. Results will be accessible online.
