The storm which brought the heavy snowfall to parts of the Ohio Valley onMonday will strengthen Tuesday as it redevelops along the New England coast.Snow will gradually taper off in the Boston, Mass., area later Tuesday and mayeven mix with some rain, but just north and west of the city the snow willaccumulate 3 to 6 inches.

The heaviest snow will fall across central and northern New England, resultingin very slow travel and low visibility into Tuesday night.

Behind the storm, northwesterly winds will be quite gusty, while snow showerswill be widespread from the Great Lakes to the Appalachians.
