Wayne State ended Minnesota Duluth's conference winning streak and much more Saturday, beating the Bulldogs 7-0 in Wayne, Neb.

UMD, ranked No. 1 and the defending champion in NCAA Division II, had won 17 games in a row and 31 NSIC games in a row, and it hadn't been shut out in its past 128 NSIC games, since 1989. UMD had won 23 consecutive road games and 41 straight NSIC road games.

Wayne State (2-1, 2-0 NSIC) got all the scoring it needed from its special teams. On the final play of the third quarter, a UMD punt was blocked by Wayne State's Alex Konicek at the Bulldogs 36-yard line, and Kevin Paulson ran it in for a touchdown.

The Bulldogs (2-1, 1-1) struggled on offense. Junior quarterback Chase Vogler completed only 15 of 32 passes for 189 yards, and his last throw -- on the final drive of the game -- was picked off, ending his streak of consecutive attempts without an interception at 106.

Winona State 29, St. Cloud State 16: Rayon Simmons rushed for 150 yards on 26 carries, propelling the Warriors (2-1, 2-0) past the No. 7 Huskies (2-1, 1-1).

Bemidji State 41, Southwest Minnesota State 10: The Beavers (3-0, 2-0 NSIC) rushed for 437 yards and took their 12th consecutive victory over the Mustangs (1-2, 1-1) in Bemidji.

Concordia (St. Paul) 27, Northern State 22: Sam Campbell scored the go-ahead touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter and the host Golden Bears (2-1, 1-1) beat the Wolves (1-2, 0-2). Jay Moten had two interceptions for Concordia.

MSU Mankato 42, Minnesota-Crookston 0: Senior wide receiver LaMark Brown caught touchdown passes of 12 and 8 yards as the Mavericks (2-1) routed the Golden Eagles (1-2) in Mankato.

Upper Iowa 45, Minnesota State Moorhead 31: The Peacocks' Tony Leggett returned a fumble 26 yards on the game's first play for a touchdown, and Upper Iowa (2-1) beat the Dragons (1-2) in Moorhead.

Mary 10, Augustana 0: The Vikings were shut out for the first time since the 2007 season, in Bismarck, N.D. Augustana is 0-3 for the first time since 1991.

Northwestern (Roseville) 55, Presentation 0: The Eagles (1-2) rolled up 491 yards of offense in the home victory.

St. Scholastica 30, Greenville (Ill.) 26: The Saints (2-0) held on in Greenville after jumping to a 27-0 lead.

Wisconsin Lutheran 42, Minnesota-Morris 20: The Cougars dropped their first game of the season after falling behind 35-7 at halftime.

Wisconsin-Whitewater 54, Campbellsville (Ky.) 14: Ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division III, the Warhawks (3-0) scored on their first four possessions and led 37-7 at halftime.

Trine (In.) 42, Wisconsin-River Falls 20: Falcons senior running back Taylor Edwards rushed for 240 yards on 34 carries and one touchdown in a losing effort.
