An Isanti man was killed early Friday when his vehicle hit a tree in Baldwin Township, in Sherburne County, authorities reported.
Police received a 911 call at 4:44 a.m. from a passerby who reported finding a man trapped in a pickup truck that was resting well off the roadway, near the intersection of 323rd Avenue and 108th Street, according to Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott. Officers arrived to find the victim, Andrew Englund, 24, dead in his vehicle.
The exact time of the accident is not known, Brott said. The accident remains under investigation.
