What's your favorite Lincoln Del memory? The family of Morris Berenberg, who opened the Lincoln Bakery in 1935, that later became the Lincoln Del, is putting together a book of recipes and remembrances from the restaurant, which closed in 2000.
They are looking for photographs and stories to consider for the book. Send them to Wendi Zelkin Rosenstein at wendi@lincolndel.com.
What was your favorite from the restaurant? For some it was the potato salad, Reuben sandwiches or cheese blintzes. For others, it was the cabbage borscht. Here's a taste from the past.
