JOSS STONE

Thursday: After singing with Mick Jagger and Dave Stewart last year in the short-lived supergroup Super Heavy, this British R&B siren has returned to what made her famous -- interpreting classic soul music. On the just-released album "Soul Sessions Vol. 2," the 25-year-old sends up songs by the Chi-Lites and the Dells and even takes on a modern tune, Broken Bells' "The High Road," which she makes sound like an oldie. The new disc is something of a delayed sequel to her debut, "Soul Sessions," which created a buzz when she was only 16. (8 p.m. Thu. $52-$55. O'Shaughnessy Auditorium, St. Catherine University, 2004 Randolph Av., St. Paul. 651-690-6700.)
