Much of the talk after the Bears' victory over the Lions on Sunday surrounded the late non-touchdown catch by Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson. But the Lions troubles go well past that call.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford injured his throwing shoulder and could miss two-to-three weeks at a minimum, according to the website Pro Football Talk. Detroit is scheduled to play host to Philadelphia next week before playing the Vikings at Mall of America Field at the Metrodome in Week 3.
While we'll have to wait until at least Monday to get an updated report on Stafford's status, it appears at this point as if former Viking Shaun Hill could end up starting against his former team in a few weeks.
