The Mall of America is a big place and busy too, especially during the holidays, which can make it a tad challenging to get around or find your car or your ride.

To make it easy for those who take Uber to or from the Bloomington shopping and entertainment complex, the Mall of America has established five curbside pick-up and drop-off zones. They are located located in the East and West level 1 ramps, the new North entrance, and the Radisson Blu and the JW Marriott hotels.

Users of the ride hailing app can choose one of the five locations when setting up their ride. Once entered, users will be given their driver's name, rating, photo and license plate all at the bottom of their screen. Riders can wait inside the mall until their driver arrives.

The new partnership begins Tuesday, and to promote the new arrangement 100 Uber users will receive Mall of America shopping gift when requesting a "Mall of America" Uber car in the app. On Saturday, Uber and the Mall of America will give away 500 free round trip rides to and from Mall of America, a value up to $40 in the Uber app. Guests can use a special code released on the Mall of America Twitter account (@mallofamerica), Instagram (@MallofAmerica), and website (www.mallofamerica.com) on Friday.

"We're pleased to team up with Mall of America to make it even easier for shoppers to get to and from Minnesota's most famous shopping destination with the push of a button –– just in time for the holiday season. Uber is now a great option for shoppers who want to focus on the experience, not the hassle of the parking lot," said Carrol Chang, Uber Minnesota General Manager.
