Four fire departments needed to extinguish flames. No injuries reported.

Early Monday morning, firefighters remained on the scene of an overnight house fire in Minnetonka.

Crews were dispatched to the structure on Victor Lane around 9:15 p.m. Sunday. Before night’s end, firefighters from Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins and St. Louis Park joined in battling the blaze.

By 1:30 a.m. Monday, the big flames were out, but firefighters were still putting out smaller ones, according to the Minnetonka Police Department.

“When officers arrived on the scene smoke and fire were coming from the attached garage of a single family dwelling,” said a statement issued by police after midnight. “All of the occupants were evacuated from the home. The home was severely damaged as a result of the fire.”

No one was injured, the statement said.

Minnetonka’s police and fire departments are still investigating to determine the fire’s cause.
