A body was found late Monday morning near an office building in Fridley, authorities said.
The discovery was made about 10:30 a.m. near a dumpster in the 900 block of Hillwind Road NE., according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
Law enforcement personnel remained on the scene into the afternoon, said Sheriff's Cmdr. Paul Sommer.
Hillwind runs along westbound Interstate 694 and curves north along Central Avenue.
There is no immediate word on the person's identity or the circumstances leading up to the death.
