A fire in a mobile home in Blaine early Monday left a man inside dead, authorities said.
The blaze involved a residence in the 9100 block of NE. Petersburg Street, according to police.
The fire in the Restwood Terrace mobile home park broke out about 1:50 a.m., and firefighters arrived to find the residence "fully engulfed," said Police Chief Chris Olson.
The heat was intense enough that vinyl siding had melted on the homes on either side of the blaze, Olson said.
The identity of the man found dead has yet to be released.
While the cause of the fire hasn't been determined, "at this point, it does not appear to be suspicious in nature," Olson said.
