Driving complaint. A silver Lincoln was reported passing other vehicles in a no-pass lane on Manning Avenue near Dellwood Road.

Deer tag request. A man requested a deer tag for a deer that had been hit and killed by a motorist in the 7000 block of 117th Street. A deputy issued him the tag.

Found item. A Razor scooter was reported found near the garden of a home in the 15000 block of Forest Boulevard. As the scooter was broken and appeared to have been discarded, the complainant was advised to throw it away.

NOV. 25

Suspicious situation. A woman checking for alcohol in her daughter's bedroom found a juvenile male under the bed in a home in the 5000 block of 39th Street. The woman told authorities she looked under the bed after her daughter had gone to school and found the male, who had slept in the home overnight. A deputy transported the male to an address in White Bear Lake.

Animal concern. A deputy used a broom to kill a bat stuck in a garage in the 16000 block of 6th Street.

Overdue motorist. A man in the 200 block of Oak Knoll Drive called the Sheriff's Department when his wife hadn't arrived home at the time she should have. While on the phone, the man was contacted by his wife, who was being assisted by a State Trooper after having gotten lost.

Suspicious activity. A man selling steaks out of a white van was reported in the 21000 block of Pomroy Avenue. The complainant said the man drove into her driveway, knocked on two doors of her home and left quickly when her husband declined to buy any steaks.

Snowplow complaint. A resident in the 15000 block of Neal Avenue Court told authorities their neighbor plows snow across the road onto their property.

Found dog. A friendly yellow lab reportedly wandered into the Domino's Pizza on 107 Wildwood Road. The dog was taken to Animal Control.

Suspicious activity. Three men wearing camouflage or tan coats were reported loitering on a bike trail behind a residence in the 7700 block of Somerset Road. An officer made contact with the men, who were moving heavy construction equipment down the path.

NOV. 15

Suspicious situation. Someone walking in the area of Birchwood Road and Oakwood Road reported seeing exhaust coming out of a garage with the door down. It was determined the exhaust was from a dryer vent.

NOV. 18

Suspicious activity. Two men attempted to buy a $450 chain saw with a forged check at Frattellone's Ace Hardware store, 1750 Weir Dr. The men left the store quickly when the check was refused.

NOV. 19

Suspicious activity. Three men selling vacuums door to door on Meadow Lane agreed to stop after an officer advised them of an ordinance requiring a solicitor permit.

NOV. 22

Unwanted animal. An officer was dispatched to Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, 8208 Tamarack Village, to remove a muskrat that had entered the store and sneaked under a crate. The officer was able to coax the muskrat into a kennel. The animal was taken to Public Works where it was released.
