The joys of krumkake

The kitchen at the Theodore Wirth Park picnic pavilion, 3275 Glenwood Av. in Minneapolis, is hosting a class that would make a Norwegian grandma proud. The Scandinavian delicacy called krumkake will be explored in an evening class on Dec. 2. Instructor Kristi Pursell will lead participants through several recipes on the special krumkake iron, making plenty to taste and bring home. Cost is $8.
