Teens injured in cabin blast remain in critical condition

Last update: July 14, 2007 - 11:29 AM

The two teen brothers injured after a cabin exploded in northern Wisconsin are in critical but stable condition today, a hospital spokesperson said.

Ethan Cline, 16, and Colin Cline, 15, are at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Their mother, Bridget Arneson, 54, of Chaska, was killed in the blast late Thursday night.

A mechanical failure in an appliance likely caused the deadly explosion about 11 p.m. at the Bond Lake cabin near Wascott, Wis., about 50 miles southeast of Duluth, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
