Hope floats

The "Today" crew logs in overtime to emcee the 90th edition of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with performances by Tony Bennett, Sarah McLachlan and the Muppets.

9 a.m., KARE, Ch. 11

The mouse that roared

"The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration" makes it a family affair with Julianne and Derek Hough hosting this two-hour infomercial from Florida's Disney World and California's Disneyland. The party may be as self-serving as this fall's season premiere of "Black-ish" (Disney owns ABC), but at least it gave all-access passes to Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, who seem to have made a triumphant return as country music's reigning sweethearts.

7 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5

An offer you can't refuse

Trying to figure out how to avoid family squabbles after your Thanksgiving feast? Try this recipe: Suggest everyone sit down for "The Godfather Epic," a seven-hour presentation of the two first films presented in chronological order, plus bonus scenes. Either your loved ones will doze off before Sonny gets whacked or anyone who brings up politics during Fredo's shaky tirade will get shushed. You'll avoid cross words in style.

9 p.m., Cinemax
