The last in a series of storm systems will gradually diminish during the dayTuesday as rain and snow Tuesday morning diminishes to rain and snow showers.Behind this storm, a major shift in the pattern will take place. High pressurewill build over northern British Columbia from Wednesday through Saturday,shifting the winds into a much drier, northeasterly direction. Expect aprolonged period of dry weather with sunshine the second half of the week. Itwill also be noticeably colder in the mountains.
