This court is adjourned

"America's Got Talent" anoints a new champion — and says goodbye to judge Howard Stern, who is leaving the show to dedicate more time to curing cancer, or coming up with a new radio segment about strippers who yodel. We can't remember which. 8 p.m. KARE, Ch. 11

The boys are back

Hard to believe that "South Park," once TV's most irreverent show, is starting its 19th season. It's easy to overlook a once-beloved naughty boy now that it's in its teenage years, but the animated series still manages to stay raunchy and relevant. I'll be shocked if Donald Trump isn't in the writers' cross hairs right off the bat. 9 p.m. Comedy Central

Paper moon

Does TV need another "Archer"? Not if it's "Moonbeam City," a poor replica featuring the smug voice of Rob Lowe. He plays an '80s-style detective who keeps tripping over his own ego in his semicommitted attempt to stop crime. Despite the high-powered cast, which includes Elizabeth Banks and Will Forte, the whole operation feels second-rate. 9:30 p.m. Comedy Central
