Minnesota breweries feel strain during pandemic

Despite strong sales of wine, spirits and beer in liquor stores since COVID-19 hit, craft breweries in Minnesota and other states have taken a body blow, especially the smaller breweries that produce less than 1,000 barrels annually. In Minnesota, that's more than half of the nearly 190 breweries. Nearly 50% of brewers nationwide say their business cannot last three months at the current pace due to taproom, bars and restaurant closings.
