Another day of dreadful weather for golf will continue in Augusta as the cold temperatures and strong winds that plagued the course on Monday will continue today. Temperatures will be in the 40s this morning with afternoon highs rising only into the 50s. To make matters worse, strong northwesterly winds of 15-25 mph will cause havoc right through the afternoon.

Wednesday will bring somewhat improved weather to the area. Though still breezy, the wind won't be nearly as strong. Wednesday will get off to a below-freezing start, but a rapid recovery to the 60s will take place during the afternoon.

The good news is that the weather will be much better for Thursday's opening round. Winds on Thursday will be under 15 mph, and the high will be in the mid-70s.

Later Friday into Friday night, there will be a threat of thunderstorms; however, the weekend conditions should be favorable for the final two rounds.
