Another day of dreadful weather for golf will continue in Augusta as thecold temperatures and strong winds that plagued the course on Monday willcontinue today. Temperatures will be in the 40s this morning with afternoonhighs rising only into the 50s. To make matters worse, strong northwesterlywinds of 15-25 mph will cause havoc right through the afternoon.Wednesday will bring somewhat improved weather to the area. Though stillbreezy, the wind won't be nearly as strong. Wednesday will get off to abelow-freezing start, but a rapid recovery to the 60s will take place duringthe afternoon.

The good news is that the weather will be much better for Thursday's openinground. Winds on Thursday will be under 15 mph, and the high will be in themid-70s.

Later Friday into Friday night, there will be a threat of thunderstorms;however, the weekend conditions should be favorable for the final tworounds.
