As the Black Live Matter protest continued a week after the shooting of Jamar Clark, five protesters were shot near a north Minneapolis police station Monday night.
Transit for Livable Communities has signed up 18 Twin Cities nonprofits to promote options to help their employees get around without driving a personal car.
Those who were shot sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Miski Noor, a Black Lives Matter representative, said that when protesters tried to herd a group of white supremacists away, three men started shooting.
