Here is a preview of the weather for Friday. Precipitation patterns havebeen tweaked a little to reflect the latest information, but in general theforecast is about the same as it was a day ago.Of prime interest is the wet swath that will extend from the Midwest to NewEngland. The heaviest rain on Friday will fall from Missouri to the LowerPeninsula of Michigan where flooding problems could develop. North of the wetzone from Wisconsin to the Dakotas, it will be chilly with temperatures nohigher than the 50s.

The Northwest will finally get to enjoy some milder weather after days ofbelow-normal temperatures. Watch for a little rain getting into northernCalifornia and southwestern Oregon Friday.

The Southeast will be warm and humid, while the Southwest is warm and dry.
