Heavy Snow Threat Southern Plains to Mid-Atlantic

Winter is taking back the reins this week. Are you ready for a rough ride? Muchcolder air has already come into the northern Plains and Upper Midwest, and theEast will be much colder from midweek on.And look at this, will you? A major winter storm will take shape over thesouthern Plains on Thursday. The storm will follow a southern track and has thepotential to produce a substantial amount of snow from the southern Plains tothe mid-Atlantic region.

As previously stated the southern Plains will be targeted on Thursday. Thursdaynight and Friday, the snowstorm will spread east through Kentucky then into theVirginias. Friday night, snow will get into Maryland, southern Pennsylvania andNew Jersey. Southern New England could get into the thick of it for a while onSaturday.
