The University of Minnesota's regents are discussing the U's 2012 capital request. Here are the line items, listed in order of priority:
HEAPR (repair and rennovation projects): $90 million
Ambulatory Care Clinic: $200 million
Old Main Utility Building Renovation: $81 million
Itasca Facilities Improvements: $6 million
Eddy Hall and Space Optimization (demolishing two other buildings): $21 million
American Indian Learning Resource Center: $11 million
Of the total cost of $409.1 million, the state would pay about $269.4 million. The U would pay $139.7 million.
The Board of Regents will vote on the capital request at its meeting next month.
