The Vikings have released their Tuesday injury report and there are no changes on it.
Cornerback Chris Cook (knee) and defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy (knee) did not participate again. Neither is expected to play Thursday night against the Saints.
Running back Toby Gerhart (knee), cornerback Cedric Griffin (knee), safety Jamarca Sanford (ankle) and center John Sullivan (calf) were limited.
Brett Favre (ankle) remained on the injury report but he had full participation in practice.
The biggest health questions remain with Sullivan and Griffin. Sullivan is pushing hard in practice to see how his calf holds up, but it's unclear if he will be ready to go. Jon Cooper likely would start if Sullivan can't play.
The team is encouraged by how fast Griffin has progressed from ACL surgery and what he's been able to do in practice this week. It still seems unlikely that he will play, but Griffin said that he thinks he's ready.
Also, coach Brad Childress said Bernard Berrian will handle punt returns, and it looks like Husain Abdullah could start at safety. Abdullah played some nickel corner last season so he could help in the slot when the Saints use their four wide receiver set.
Childress also indicated the team could promote cornerback Marcus Sherels from the practice squad.
