BOSTON -- Francisco Liriano's next start has been pushed to Tuesday against Detroit, giving him an extra day to recover from the virus that has been going around the Twins clubhouse.

Nick Blackburn will start Monday's series finale against the Red Sox, in Liriano's place.

Liriano got sick after pitching his no-hitter Tuesday night in Chicago. The Twins had talked about moving his next start back anyway, since he threw 123 pitches against the White Sox, matching a career high.

Update: Today's lineup has a few tweaks from Friday night, and part of that is because this is a day game after a night game. Manager Ron Gardenhire said Justin Morneau thought this would be a good day to DH, so Michael Cuddyer is at first base.

Gardenhire wanted to use Luke Hughes because he's been sitting out for a while, and also because righthanded hitters have had good success against Clay Buchholz, batting .344 with a .994 OPS.
