The Twins announced Tuesday that spring training with open with pitchers and catchers reporting to Fort Myers on February 12. Full squad workouts begin four days later with the exhibition home opener on February 24 against Tampa Bay.

The Twins open their spring training schedule against Baltimore in Miami the previous day.

The Twins will play 19 home games at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers, including four against the Boston Red Sox, who also train in Fort Myers, and three against Baltimore. In addition, the New York Yankees play in Fort Myers on March 22 and the National League Central Division champion St. Louis Cardinals will be there on March 25.

The regular season opens on April 1, when the Twins will host Detroit at Target Field, the first time the Twins have started the season at home since Target Field opened in 2010.
