Undefeated teams at Minnesota State-Mankato and University of Minnesota Duluth have taken the top two spots in the new Division II poll released Monday by the American Football Coaches Association.

Both teams are 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with three games to play before NCAA postseason play begins. Sioux Falls is also undefeated in conference play and overall.

Mankato and UMD had previously been second and third respectively in bthe AFCA poll. The teams are in separate NSIC divisions and will not meet during the regular season.

The previous No. 1 team, Northwest Missouri State, lost over the weekend and droppoed to No. 11.

Sioux Falls is 14th.

In the Division III poll, four MIAC teams are ranked in the top 25. Bethel is No. 15 with St. Thomas (19), Concoprdia-Moorhead (23) and St. John's (24) also on the list.
