Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. Craig Finn, frontman for the excellent Hold Steady (and the now-defunct but even more excellent Lifter Puller) has teamed up with The Baseball Project to record what might be the first excellent song about the Minnesota Twins. (Appreciated the effort, but looking at you, here, G.B. Leighton.)
Regular blog readers will know that our appreciation for Finn's work is wide-reaching.
But we encourage you to have a listen, regardless of any admitted biases. This is a very fine song.
