There's now officially a Bud Grant Way.
Bud Grant's biggest fans and cheerleaders -- and 40 members of his immediate family including children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren -- helped honor the former Minnesota Vikings coach Monday afternoon with a street next to the new Vikings stadium. The street on 9th Avenue between 6th Street and 7th Street was previously known as Carew Drive.
"They are very excited about this," Grant said about his family. "And that's what makes me the most happy about what the Wilf family and the City Council have decided to do."
