Brett Favre still hasn't told the Vikings whether he will play in 2010 but the quarterback certainly will be asked about his plans in a very public forum next week.

Favre's website sent out an e-mail on Friday night saying he will be in attendance at ESPN's ESPY awards on Wednesday in Los Angeles and will present the Arthur Ashe award.

Favre, who has attended the award's show before, has been nominated for a few honors. This includes best record breaking performance (NFL record for consecutive starts); performance under pressure (Favre's return to Green Bay); and Best NFL Player (he's up against Drew Brees, Chris Johnson, Peyton Manning, Darrelle Revis and Charles Woodson).

We received a note from ESPN this week that Adrian Peterson also is expected to attend the show.

Peterson isn't going to have to field any tough questions.

Favre, however, will be asked if he has made his decision. One can only anticipate he will be far more comfortable than LeBron James was in attempting to answer the queries directed his way on the all-sports network.
