A van struck and killed a 6-year-old boy on a bicycle in Duluth, authorities said.
The collision occurred about 3:40 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Clark Court, according to police.
The driver, a 45-year-old woman from Duluth, hit the bicyclist as he was crossing the street, police added. She said she "did not see him until she struck him," a police statement continued.
The boy, who was wearing a helmet, died at the hospital.
The driver showed "no signs of impairment," police said.
