A 33-year-old man lost control of his car along Intestate 94 in Maple Grove, hit a utility equipment building and was killed, authorities said.
The crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday on eastbound I-94 near Maple Grove Parkway, according to the State Patrol.
Killed was Andrew Hou, of Edina, the patrol said.
He was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol use does not appear to be a factor, the patrol added.
The patrol did note that the driving surface was wet at the time.
