Hair salon franchiser Great Clips of Bloomington has named Steve Hockett president.
He replaces Charlie Simpson, who is retiring but will stay on as a part-time consultant and a member of the board.
Hockett, who had been chief operating officer and previously held posts in marketing, ran a Great Clips franchise in the late 1980s. Rhoda Olsen remains the firm's CEO.
Rob Goggins was named COO. He formerly was senior vice president of real estate and development.
Great Clips has more than 3,300 franchised salons in the United States and Canada, making it one of the world's largest salon brands.
