The law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP has hired real estate veteran Eileen Roberts.
Roberts will work out of Dorsey's Minneapolis office as a senior attorney in the Real Estate and Land Use Group, which consists of more than 20 lawyers. She joins the firm from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, where she was the Austin J. Baillon and Caroline M. Baillon professor of real estate law, part of her 24-year tenure there.
While at William Mitchell, she also taught and wrote about real estate law and served as faculty advisor for the Real Estate Law Society. She's a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and has been a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs and a regular consultant to the practicing bar on issues involving real estate and land-use issues.
Roberts received her law degree from William Mitchell and practiced real estate and land use law for nine years at several Twin Cities law firms, most recently as a partner at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi.
