Theft. Cash and jewelry valued at over $10,000 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home on the 900 block of Ridgecrest Drive.
Theft. A 2007 Land Rover LR3 was stolen from the 400 block of 79th Street W. It was recovered that night in Minneapolis.
WEEK OF JAN. 28
Medical. A male worker was run over by a forklift at a construction site. He was conscious and alert and taken to the hospital.
Fire. A bus was on fire at Stoughton Avenue. Chaska Fire Department extinguished the fire. The likely cause was a block heater.
Weapon. An intoxicated male on Village Road was charged with reckless use of a dangerous weapon and discharging a weapon within city limits after he accidentally shot himself in the leg while he was handling his loaded pistol. He had a .127 percent blood-alcohol content and was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Theft. A sled valued at $350 was stolen from Walnut Ridge Park, 5745 Londonderry Rd.
Burglary. A television and stereo were stolen from a home on the 5100 block of Roberts Place.
Animal complaint. A mail carrier was bitten by a dog on the 5500 block of Halifax Lane.
Disorderly conduct. A 31-year-old Edina woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at a home on the 7100 block of Cahill Road.
Animal complaint. An animal owner was issued a verbal warning regarding a barking dog on the 100 block of Mallard Lane.
Theft. A 60-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl's, 8080 Wedgewood Lane N.
Property damage. A vehicle was vandalized on the 9800 block of Hospital Drive.
Assault. A 12-year-old boy was cited for assault after allegedly punching someone at Plymouth Middle School, 10011 36th Av. N.
Obstruction. An intoxicated 24-year-old St. Louis Park woman was arrested for obstructing the legal process after punching and kicking an officer at Cowboy Jack's, 4120 Berkshire Lane N. The officer was attempting to escort her from the bar.
Theft. A 1999 Cadillac Seville was stolen from a business on the 10100 Rockford Road. It was later recovered in another city.
Drunken driving. A 40-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving after his vehicle was stopped for having a headlight out on 73rd Street and Lyndale Avenue S.
Robbery. A female received lacerations to her hand and face after a male attempted to carjack her vehicle at 67th Street and Oliver Avenue S.
Robbery. A robbery occurred on the 6500 block of Nicollet Avenue S. The suspect used a knife and cut the victim on the hand.
Drunken driving. A 62-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for drunken driving following a routine traffic stop at 65th Street and Rae Drive.
Underage consumption. An 18-year-old Chanhassen male was cited for underage consumption on the 1400 block of Community Drive.
