The Gophers will start and hope to finish their season at Ridder Arena, their home rink.
The NCAA tournament will be held there on March 22 and 24.
The defending NCAA champions were 34-5-2 last season, 21-5-2 for second place in the WCHA.
The Gophers return 15 letterwinners from last year's team, including three all-america players, defenseman Megan Bozek, forward Amanda Kessel and goalie Noora Räty. The Gophers will add six freshmen and one transfer for a roster of 22 players.
The WCHA Final Face-off also will be held at Ridder Arena on March 8-9.
Season tickets for the 2012-13 season will be available soon.
