Found this at the Twin Cities Postcard Club show last Saturday: an ad for Washburn-Crosby's flagship flour.

The ad suggests that use of the flour is inevitable, and hence there is no reason not to hasten its adoption. Not a very hard sell; more of a gentle nudge in the direction of proper flour consumption.

To see how they sold the flour half a century later, enjoy this commercial, HERE. Perky Iowa lass keeps it real in Gotham by baking, possibly to keep up on skills she'd need when she married and moved to New Rochelle.
