Theft. Cash amounting to $140 was taken from a fitting room at Herberger's, 301 Northtown Dr. NE.

Burglary. Electronics, medication and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 8600 block of 181st Avenue NE.

Robbery. A white male, wearing a red bandana over his face and brandishing a handgun, entered the Holiday station at 9444 Lake Dr., and fled with the cash drawers.

FALCON HEIGHTS

MAY 4

Traffic arrest. A 36-year-old woman was arrested in the 1500 block of Larpenteur Avenue for displaying license tabs belonging to another vehicle, along with expired license and registration.

FRIDLEY

MAY 7

Weapon. A grenade was found at a home in the 6300 block of NE. Able Street. The Minneapolis bomb squad removed the grenade for proper disposal.

Theft. Knives were stolen from a home in the 300 block of NE. Hugo Street.

MAY 2

Flying concern. Police received a call about a low-flying helicopter, possibly doing tricks, near Wildwood Elementary School, 8698 75th St. The caller was unable to tell whether the helicopter was a mosquito control craft.

MAPLEWOOD

APRIL 27

Traffic stop. A commercial driver in the area of Prosperity Road and Frost Avenue was taken out of service for having an expired medical card, which made him unqualified to drive a commercial vehicle.

MAY 4

Littering. The driver of a vehicle pulling a trailer with garbage blowing out of it was cited for littering in the area of Larpenteur Avenue and Parkway Drive.

MAY 13

Theft. A handicap placard was stolen from a vehicle in the 5200 block of Jeffrey Drive. It was later recovered.

Drunken driving. A 60-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, failing to obey a traffic control device, and carrying a handgun while under the influence of alcohol, following a traffic stop at County Roads H and 10.

NEW BRIGHTON

MAY 5

Traffic stop. A 19-year-old man was arrested for providing false information to police when his vehicle was stopped near Silver Lake Road and 37th Avenue.

Medical. A 33-year-old man from the 16800 block of Yolite Street NW., who had been drinking, was taken to the hospital after he cut his hand with a knife.

ST. ANTHONY

MAY 5

Theft. An 18-year-old man was cited for theft and underage possession of alcohol after he was caught stealing a bottle valued at $14 from St. Anthony Village Wine and Spirits, 2602 39th Av. NE.

WOODBURY

APRIL 30

Suspicious activity. Several vehicles were reported coming and going from a park in the area of Tamberwood Trail and Tamarack Road. Police located two vehicles at the park, and the juvenile passengers admitted they were playing Nerf wars. They were told about park hours and advised to play safely.
