Burglary. Guns and a TV set were stolen from a home in the 200 block of Elm Road NE. Entry was gained through an unlocked back door.

Property damage. A woman from the 5800 block of East River Road NE. reported that a woman she knows damaged her vehicle with a baseball bat.

HAM LAKE

DEC. 23

Theft. A 2008 Toyota Camry was stolen from 147th Avenue NE. and Hwy. 65. It was recovered two days later in Crystal.

DEC. 26

Drugs. A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana after an officer observed him smoking it in a vehicle in the 1800 block of 153rd Avenue NE.

LAKE ELMO

DEC. 21

Dumping complaint. Officers responded to a report of trucks dumping an unknown substance in a farm field in the 8000 block of 26th Street. It was determined that the trucks were dumping manure with the permission of the owner of the field.

LAKELAND

DEC. 20

Neighbor complaint. A person in the 400 block of Quinnell Avenue reported that a neighbor's cats were in her yard. The caller was concerned about the cats attacking her dog and whether or not they had the appropriate shots. Authorities were unsuccessful in their initial attempt to contact the neighbor.

Public assist. Police assisted an intoxicated man in the 2500 block of James Drive who had been dropped off at the wrong address by a taxi driver.

MOUNDS VIEW

JAN. 6

Drugs. A 44-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drunken driving following a traffic stop in the 7700 block of Knollwood Drive.

JAN. 9

Robbery. Cash was stolen from the cash register at ABC Liquor, 2840 County Road 10, by a suspect who indicated possession of a firearm.

DEC. 28

Theft. The rear license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the 2600 block of Rice Creek Road.

OAKDALE

DEC. 19

Public assist. An officer helped a woman get her pet bird, "Brent," out of a trash can and into its cage in the 4100 block of Gershwin Avenue.

DEC. 21

Suspicious vehicle. A resident in the 4000 block of Gershwin Avenue reported an unfamiliar vehicle parked in her driveway that was blocking her from leaving her garage. She didn't know whose car it was or why it was parked there. An officer advised that she could have it towed.

RAMSEY

DEC. 12

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to a report at a home in the 16100 block of Nowthen Boulevard NW. regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in a resident's driveway. The vehicle turned out to belong to a friend.

Found. Hunting arrows were found in the yard of a home in the 5700 block of 164th Avenue NW. A suspect was not located.

DEC. 13

Fire. A resident reported to police that the fire alarm kept going off in their townhouse in the 5300 block of 140th Court NW. Officers discovered that the cause was a faulty battery.
