INDIANAPOLIS — Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing will partner with RW Motorsports to add a second car for the IndyCar Series race at Sonoma.
American Le Mans Series LMP1 championship points leader Lucas Luhr will race his first laps in an open wheel car for SFHR in the Aug. 25 race. He'll drive the No. 97 entry as a teammate to Josef Newgarden.
A five-time ALMS champion, Luhr is the only ALMS driver to win championships in three separate series classes: GT, LMP2 and LMP1.
Luhr and SFHR will participate in a manufacturer test Aug. 13 in Sonoma.
