Katerina Mrazova scored two third period goals as Minnesota Duluth rallied to tie the No. 6 Gophers 3-3 on Friday night at Ridder Arena in WCHA women's hockey.

Her first goal got UMD within 2-1, her second, with 4 minutes, 46 seconds in regulation, tied the score at 3-all.

The Bulldogs won the five-round shootout 2-1 for the extra point in the conference standings.

Freshman forward Taylor Wente's gave the Gophers (14-5-2, 9-4-2 Big Ten) a 1-0 lead late in the opening period.

Grace Zumwinkle, another of Minnesota's freshmen, started the third period outburst, scoring at 3:31 and Caitlin Reilly's power-play goal at 6:48 made it 3-1.

In between those goals, Mrazova, a senior from Prague, Czech Republic, had the first goal for UMD (9-10-1, 5-7-1-1). Ashton Bell got the second at 11:56 and then Mrazova tied it late.

Sidney Peters had 21 saves for the Gophers, Jessica Convery 25 for UMD.
