The last time reality-TV giant Mark Burnett tried a scripted series, it was called "Commando Nanny." It smelled like doo-doo. His chances seem better this time around as he teams with former Minnesota playwright Craig Wright ("Six Feet Under," "Dirty Sexy Money") for a CBS drama project. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series is about a lawyer who gets a second chance in life after a near-fatal car crash.
Also helping Wright and Burnett produce the series: Former "Touched By An Angel" star Roma Downey, who happens to be Burnett's wife..
