Wellness sessions, health screenings, flu shots and open swim time will all be offered as part of Community Wellness Day.

The free event, hosted by Anoka-Hennepin Community Education, will start at 9 a.m. Jan. 25 at Roosevelt Middle School, 650 125th Av. NE., Blaine.

Participants will be offered blood pressure and cholesterol screenings. Sessions include Intro to Break Dancing, Stress Management 101 and Protecting Young Athletes.

Wellness Day participants will also receive a coupon to attend a free open swim from 1:30 to 3 p.m. that day at the Roosevelt Community Pool. Pool staff will unveil a new inflatable obstacle course.
