A house fire early Saturday in St. Paul left one person dead.
The fire occurred in a house in the 1400 block of Old Hudson Road, the St. Paul Fire Department said. IThe victim was smoking while using an oxygen machine, according to the Fire Department.
Crews were called to the fire shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday by a neighbor who reported seeing smoke, according to public safety scanner traffic recorded by the website Police Clips.
Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire.
