8:30 a.m. update: Still tight on Hwy. 10, 494 in south metro

The school bus fire has been extinguished and the scene at Egret Blvd. cleared, but traffic, that's still present. Look for tight conditions from Round Lake Blvd over to the Hwy. 610 interchange.

Westbound 494 is still plagued by two crashes at Carver Avenue and Hardman Avenue in the southeast metro.  Things do pick up speed to the west until commtuers reach Hwy. 5. There we have a crash on the right shoulder.

It's road work that has westbound 394 traffic tangled from Hwy. 169 to Plymouth Road while a wreck on eastbound 94 at Hennepin Avenue has traffic in downtown Minneapolis slowing from the tube to 35W.

Looking for relief on northbound 35W across the Minnesota River. Not happening at this hour. It's clogged from County 42 up to 98th Street, and 30 minutes to downtown Minneapolis.

Finally, commuters in Eden Prairie are slowing to peek at a crash on the right shoulder of eastbound Hwy. 212 at Dell Road.  Delays begin at Hwy. 101.
