Police seek two robbery suspects

Posted by: Matt McKinney Updated: September 16, 2013 - 12:19 PM

The Minneapolis police issued surveillance images Monday that show a man and a woman wanted for questioning in an armed robbery case. The photos show a white man with tattoos and a mohawk hair style and a 20-to-25-year-old white woman with black, shoulder-length hair.

Anyone with information on either person should call Minneapolis police Sgt. Walter Carlson at 612-673-3856. The case number is 13-199779.

The woman pictured in the surveillance photos used a stolen credit card on June 23 to purchase $300 worth of gift cards, according to police. That same night, about twenty minutes before the pair are seen at the gas station, the credit card they used was stolen from a woman who was robbed at gunpoint in the 4200 block of Linden Hills Boulevard.

Crime Stoppers of Minnesota has offered a reward of up to $1,000 for information on this case. To send a tip to Crime Stoppers, call 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), text TIP674 plus your information to 274637 (CRIMES) or go to the Crime Stoppers website at crimestoppersmn.org and click on "Give a Tip."
