Continued: Fore-close! Elk River seeks mulligan on golf course deal

Krause, who lives in Lakeville and will retire in December after 20 years on the Dakota County board, says golfers in Elk River have been the real losers this year.

“It’s a good little course,” he said of Pinewood. “Seniors love it. It’s a great place for kids to learn how to play. I have fond memories of it.

“But like they say, a deal is a deal.”
